Do you hear it? The distant screaming. The explosions on the streets. The rumble of all that is and all that will be. It is ending.

You are too far away to see the faces. You can only read the actions of the world. You see the burning. You see the panic. You see the illogicality of human decision. 

You have hurt him. You now hurt others. You hurt yourself. 

Make the bargain. Sleep with the Witch. Complete the sacrifice. 

Can you really save this dying world, or are you just abandoning it?

The tree is dead. 

But now the silence has a voice. 

And perhaps in time, flowers will blossom on the ashen limbs.
