Um… okay.

I think it was great how each of the endings worked to get a different emotion out of the viewer. The first ending I got, with Stefan going crazy and the viewer making a choice for a woman in the future was the most typical Black Mirror ending.

To contrast, there was the ending where he imagined he went back and time and boarded the train with his mother, only to die in reality. This was a surprisingly touching and heartbreaking ending. Instead of toying with a character’s mind, I felt like I had gone too far in messing with an emotionally damaged person.

And the ending where Stefan jumped from the balcony was especially strong, as the scene cut instantly to the game reviewer saying how this whole event was just sad and shocking and disturbing.

None of the endings felt too similar, and I’m glad they took the story in unique directions.
